According to Peta Pixel, SanDisk has just released a 1TB micro-SD card. Beyond it’s crazy amount of storage space, it also has a blazing fast read/write speed.

Want to shoot high-res photos and 4K video all day on a single microSD card? SanDisk just launched the world’s first 1 terabyte microSD card.
With a UHS speed class of 3 (U3) and a video speed class of 30 (V30), the card is ready to handle 4K UHD video recording.
The monstrous card features read speed of up to 160MB/s (“to save time transferring high-res images and 4K UHD video,” SanDisk says) and write speeds of up to 90MB/s (for fast shooting).

The 1TB micro-SD card was released on Amazon for $450.
Regardless of whether you have a need for a high-capacity SD card, it will be interesting to see how much space will become available in larger, external hard drives.
